Embedding video in your website is very easy. You just need to upload it your video somewhere like YouTube, Vimeo, or even if you upload your raw video file somewhere on the cloud it will work too. Then simply add the video as shown in this video:

  1. Activate the Advanced Mode (check how here).
  2. Click on the Videos button.
  3. Click on the Add Video button.
  4. Select the design element where the video will go. It can be an image, a frame, whatever you want.
  5. Click on the Add Video button.
  6. Paste the video URL in the field and click on Save.

That’s all!

The design element will turn into a WordPress video block with your video in it!

What video URL can I use?

You can use:

  • YouTube normal URLs like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2Ct7P8VCEk (just copy it from your browser).
  • YouTube short URLs like: https://youtu.be/-2Ct7P8VCEk. You get them when you click on the Share button in a YouTube video.
  • Vimeo URLs.
  • A video streaming link.
  • A URL containing your video file in whatever format browsers support (.webm, .mp4, .ogg, etc.).

In the last case, the video will have standard video controls as shown below:
